The next level of voice control is coming.

I am very curious about this kind of technology as in my opinion it lays the ground work for a world with less intrusive digital media and appliances. Only worry I have with viv is it’s aspiration on becoming a centralized service provider and hence the next monolith of user data and personalized user service. This position as a centralized digital hub with the convenience of always listening (in the future) is worrisome concerning privacy. I’d really hope they could solve this and something like a decentralized approach could work with people contributing to specialized distributed hubs that could be combined on demand (or not). But I guess they won’t go down such a road and rather confirm my worries. If you want to check out the company webpage goto http://viv.ai/.
